Chiropractor

Dr. Katherine is a family chiropractor, whose vision is to see the Junction community full of healthy, happy children and adults. She wants families to connect to the world around them, and feel supported and loved. Her most rewarding experiences have been helping struggling parents find answers and discover solutions.

Katherine is a native of Toronto and a huge Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Outside of the office, you can likely find her on the hockey rink, the local running trail or spending time with her family.

Dr. Katherine has training in a variety of treatment techniques, including Webster Technique (for pregnancy), pediatric adjusting, Activator Methods, Thompson Technique, and acupuncture.

Anna loves to help people relax, move out of pain, and increase their mobility and body awareness. She enjoys observing the way massage therapy promotes well-being through relaxation, better sleep, recovery from injury, and easing tension or pain from life‘s daily activities. Anna’s style combines calming relaxation massage and specific deep pressure, adapting to the individual treatment needs of each person.

Originally from Nova Scotia, Anna has been a proud local to the Junction neighborhood for the past decade. She and her family enjoy all the great restaurants, parks, and events this community has to offer.

Sherry Lowe-Bernie

Pilates Instructor

Sherry has been teaching Pilates since 1997 and for the last thirteen years has been the resident Certified Pilates Teacher at the Atlas Chiropractic. Sherry specializes in modifying the classical exercises developed by Joseph Pilates so that they provide the maximum benefit for her clients.

Sherry trained with the renowned PhysicalMind Institute, based in New York City. She is certified to teach Mat and Equipment Pilates (Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair) as well as Standing Pilates. She has also earned specialist certificates in Pilates for Osteoporosis and Herniated Discs. In 2007 she received the internationally recognized Pilates Method Alliance certification, one of only twenty Canadian teachers to do so.

Sherry’s spare time is spent hanging out with her “boys”; husband Brent and yellow lab Levi. She loves traveling in Italy and is slowly but surely becoming fluent in Italian.

Michell was born and raised in Toronto and thoroughly enjoys the city; especially the variety of food and culture it has to offer. She’s always looking for new restaurants to try! When Michell is not in the office, she’s likely working towards her next fitness goal, enjoying a good book, or spending time with her family.
